[Q] nanu jñeyānityatayā jñānam anityam iti kutaḥ?

[A]
1. jñeyarūpe vyāpāro vā pramāṇatvaṃ,
2. jñeyarūpād utpattiḥ,
3. tatsvabhāvatā
veti na pakṣāntarasambhavaḥ.

atra

1. vyāpṛtasyāvyāpṛtasya vā yadi na viśeṣaḥ, kathaṃ vyāpāretaravivekaḥ?

2. [Q] atha darpaṇasthānīyaṃ tat.

[A] yo ya evārthaḥ sannihitaḥ sa sa eva pratibhātīti cet.

3. [Q] artha eva tarhi svasāmagrītas tathā bhavati, na jñātur vyāpāraḥ.

[A] atha niścalonmiṣitalocano 'pi samāpatato 'rthān krameṇa paśyati.

[Q] na kadācid aparāparavilakṣaṇavyāpārarūpatā paropalakṣyate, tathā tasyāpi.

4. [A] atrocyate---

vyāpāraś cakṣuṣas tatrāpy anvayavyatirekataḥ/
nānvayavyatirekitvaṃ sthāṇor nityasya vidyate//226//

tasmāt "artha evāyam evambhūtaḥ, nāsya grahaṇe vyāpāraḥ kaścit" iti kathaṃ pramāṇam?




After discussing this issue with Moriyama san, I agree with his understanding. Mine is wrong. The following one that Moriyama san assumes is correct.

Here only the candidate a (jneyarupe vyapara = pramanatva) is assumed as being ascribed to the opponent.
